Explanation:
notes.ini DEBUG_disable_dirman_refresh=1 completely disables DbDirMan, an in memory cache of all the server-side databases. This prevents some Domino Administrator features from working and may affect other server-side features. Domino 8.5 has new settings to reduce DbDirMan behavior. Any of these settings should only be implemented at the request of IBM Support.

Default:
This setting is absent from notes.ini by default.

Recommendation:
Remove DEBUG_disable_dirman_refresh=1 from the notes.ini and the configuration document, then restart the server.

Restarts:
The Domino server must be restarted after modifying this setting.

Domino Configuration Tuner:
This setting is included in the DCT catalog of best practices.
