Applies to all Lotus iNotes clients using mail templates that are
iNotes6.NTF or later. By default, the protocol used to access the Instant
Messaging server is that of the current Web page. If you do not want to use the
current Web page's protocol to access the Instant Messaging server, use the
setting iNotes_WA_SametimeProtocol, and set the value to either https: or http:
depending on which protocol you want to enforce. For example, if the current
protocol is http, you can use iNotes_WA_SametimeProtocol = https: to force the
use of the https protocol.

The current Web page protocol
You can specify this setting in the NOTES.INI Settings tab of the
Configuration Settings document in the Domino Directory.
