Tags: MIME, notes.ini, router, R4, R5, CD

Explanation:

Controls how the router converts MIME messages.

If not set or 0 the R5 Router transfers a MIME message to an R4 server, it will convert the MIME to CD format it may or may not include a file attachment with the original MIME, depending on the recipients Storage Preferences or if the message is really an S/MIME message.

If this ini is set to 1 then the Router will always include a file attachment that contains the original MIME. This might be useful if you want to route Native MIME message from R5 server to R5 Server, but there is an R4 HUB in between.

Applies to:

Servers

Default Value:

0

UI equivalent:

None, although you can specify this setting in the NOTES.INI Settings tab of the Configuration Settings document in the Domino Directory.

Syntax:

MailTransferCDandMIME=0 / 1

Available since:

Lotus Notes/Domino x.x.x

Obsolete since:

Lotus Notes/Domino x.x.x
