    Explanation:
Transport Neutral Encapsulation Format (TNEF) is a Microsoft standard for tunneling rich data over the Internet to a recipient.  IBM Lotus Domino uses the TNEF Converter feature (enabled with the setting of TNEFEnableConversion=1) to extract file attachments from the TNEF stream and include the Rich Text content inside the message. Diagnostic logging is enabled via TNEFDebug=1. The amount of diagnostic logging can be controlled via TNEFConverter_Log_Level.

    Values are as follows:
10: minimal -- log errors only
20: normal -- errors and terse info
30: informational -- errors, terse info, and some additional info
40: verbose -- provides all information

    Default:

The default logging level is 20.

    Recommendation:

If TNEF conversion is enabled, reduce the amount of information logged by setting TNEFConverter_Log_Level below 20.

    Restrictions:

This Domino feature became available in versions 6.5.6 and 7.02.

    Related Settings:

    TNEFBreakSMIME, TNEFAttachRTF, TNEFKeepAttachment, TNEFEnableConversion
