Transactional logging is enabled in the Server Document under Transactional
Logging / Basics / Transactional logging. This feature captures database
changes and writes them sequentially to the transaction log. This results
in better data integrity of databases by committing changes to the transaction
log first before writing to the Notes database. Additionally, transactional
logging greatly improves server restart and crash recovery performance.
Transactional logging is disabled when a new Domino server is registered.
It is beneficial to always have transactional logging enabled for all servers.
