For those customers who want to increase their filter quality above 99%, this tutorial will guide you through the creation of a new rule that forwards spam, that has been sent to non-existing users, to the IBM Data Center for analysis. Be sure to use the following updated script instead of what is included in the video.
-- Start Copy --
- top50.sh v 2.5
grep "Recipient Verification" /etc/xmail/logs/filters* | grep "\-1\"" | cut -f 2| sort | uniq -c | sort -r | cut -f 2 -d "\"" | head -n50 >top50.emails
Note - edit the article to see the actual shell script as it is not coming through correctly on the wiki!
Note: This will just show the top 50 - if you need more you will have to change -n50 to e.g. -n100

Lotus Protector's spam filtering is better than 99% effective. But there will always be instances where spam leaks through. Providing spam samples to the IBM Data Center improves filtering for all Lotus Protector installations.
