Here is a high-level overview of the process.
1. Create a server-based Widgets Catalog, and include the widget for the Learning Plug-In for IBM Lotus Notes in the catalog in an appropriate category (for example, "Learning"). Refer to the

2. Create or modify a Desktop Policy Settings document indicating the Widgets Catalog server name, file name, and categories to push to users' desktops (for example, the "Learning" category specified for the Learning Plug-In in the Widgets Catalog). Refer to the

Result: This will update the user's Preferences to include the catalog and category from which to get plug-ins as shown in the following figure:
