You can easily deploy the
IBM
Lotus Learning Widget to groups of users by
using a widget catalog and policy settings documents.
Here is a high-level overview of the process.
1. Create
a server-based Widgets Catalog, and include the widget for the Learning
Plug-In for IBM Lotus Notes in the catalog in an appropriate category (for
example, "Learning"). Refer to the

the widget catalog topic in the IBM Lotus Domino
and Notes information center for detailed steps.
2. Create
or modify a Desktop Policy Settings document indicating the Widgets Catalog
server name, file name, and categories to push to users' desktops (for
example, the "Learning" category specified for the Learning Plug-In
in the Widgets Catalog). Refer to the
Creating
a desktop policy settings document topic in
the IBM Lotus Domino and Notes information center for detailed steps.
Result: This will update the user's Preferences to include the catalog
and category from which to get plug-ins as shown in the following figure:
