Links and guidance for various sources of education to enhance expertise with use of, administration of, and development of applications for the IBM Lotus Notes and Domino products.

This road map is continually evolving and should be considered a "living document". We continue to define and refine the road map, enablement activities and materials.



ISSL has created this IBM Lotus Notes and Domino education road map to aid with foundation and core product enablement. Skills have been divided into:
  • Foundation Enablement - Designed for all ISSL personnel to be able to interact with customers and each other in regards to IBM Lotus Notes and Domino
  • Core Technical Skills - Designed to focus on the underpinning technologies that power IBM Lotus Notes and Domino
  • Infrastructure - Designed to provide deep technical skills on the infrastructure topics related to IBM Lotus Notes and Domino
  • Application Development - Designed to focus on skills required to design and develop applications that interact with, or embed within IBM Lotus Notes and Domino

The Learning Stream tab contains a listing of learning content on IBM Lotus Notes and Domino from a variety of sources. While much of this content is referenced elsewhere in this roadmap table, you can find new content quickly here.

Note that all technical resources should have the following core skills from project delivery experience with:

  • Network topologies (TCP/IP)
  • Directory Servers (LDAP)
  • Web Servers (IBM HTTP Server, Apache, etc.)
  • Relevant platforms (Windows, Linux/zLinux, AIX, Mac, System i)
