Before deploying any agents, Designer should test their
LotusScript agents. That can be done with the profiling option of the agent
1. In Designer, open a LotusScript agent and select "Profile
2. In Designer, in the agent list, right-click and select
"Run" or wait until agent execution time or event
3. Back in Designer, select the agent you want to profile,
right-click on it and select the option to view the profile result.
The third point will show you the profile document that
will give you the opportunity to see exactly where your agent is loosing
time or is working fine.
For instance, using LS list to manage all items from a
document is really less performant than using multiple getItemValue calls
(on Domino 8 mostly).
In a production environment the profiling can be activated
to help manage Agent Manager bottlenecks.
