|This topic describes known Windows™ RT device restrictions and limitations with IBM® Notes® Traveler.
General device issues
Table 1. General device issues
Device syncs all data if the server changes the version of ActiveSync currently being used.
If the IBM Notes Traveler server changes the ActiveSync version, Windows RT and Pro tablets will initiate a resync of all data. In IBM Notes Traveler 126.96.36.199, the ActiveSync version has changed, therefore this problem may be seen after upgrading to 188.8.131.52. In addition, if a user is viewing the mail app during the upgrade, he or she may see the mail disappear and not refresh until after the restart of the mail application.
Table 2. Mail issues

No ability to send mail to non-internet addresses, such as Domino addresses.
IBM Notes Traveler for Windows RT devices does not support sending mail to non-internet addresses, such as Domino addresses. email@example.com is valid, while name@domain is not. The address field must have at least one period in the domain name.
Mail addresses present in the body of received messages are not recognized.
Mail addresses in a message on a Windows RT device are neither highlighted nor clickable.
The response state of a mail message in the Notes client is not updated when a message is replied to or forwarded from a Windows RT device.
The Windows RT client does not include a message identifier which is normally used to update the message response state. Therefore, the icons which are visible in the Notes or iNotes® clients to indicate if the message has been replied to or forwarded are not updated when using a Windows RT device.
