developerWorks
The right to blog does not automatically include the right to be taken seriously.

By now, you've probably heard about the new Lotus Sametime V7.5.1 trial on developerWorks (it launched last Friday, and several Lotus bloggers wasted no time letting the community know about this new trial download), but I wanted to call a few pieces of Lotus Sametime content to your attention.

The first is a tutorial, "A virtual office: IBM Lotus Sametime chatting and Second Life," for those of you who want to use Lotus Sametime Connect to communicate with someone in Second Life:

This tutorial shows you how to create a Sametime bot that listens for conversations in Second Life and relays them to your IBM Lotus Sametime Connect client or vice-versa, making it possible to let people alert you when you're needed, but you're not "in-world" as well as to be in-world without missing important conversations.

In addition, we've updated the Lotus Sametime documentation page with links to more V7.5.1 documentation, particularly toolkit documentation.
