With the advent of Windows Vista, Apple has stepped up its anti-PC campaign, and with Apple's warning that iTunes may not work with Microsoft Vista, I, for one, am even more convinced that the Mac may be the way to go. But that is just my unprofessional, iPod-loving opinion.
Last month, Information Week gave Mac OS X a favorable review when compared to Windows Vista, and no doubt, there will be even more press -- good and bad -- in the Mac vs. Windows debate when Leopard debuts this spring.
IBMers can take advantage of an Apple discount, and I may use that program later this year to purchase my own MacBook (for personal use only). I am won over by the many advantages that the Mac has over Windows: ease of use, lack of viruses, built-in software, and so on. Because my computer needs are few (email, Internet, and word processing), I think a Mac is a better deal, but I'm open to opinions from those who've used both Macs and PCs, having never had any previous experience with Macs myself.
