RE: Connecting to Oracle using LCLSX Daniel W Heichel 9.May.12 03:39 PM a Web browser LC LSX Oracle Applications Connector - All ReleasesWindows
The problem is that you are using a very, very old version of Domino with the very newest release of the Oracle Connect Client.
Back in the 6.5 days (which may actually be newer than what you're using, if you're still on 6), there was support for Oracle 7, 8 and 9. This used two connectors - noracle.dcx did 7 and early 8 versions, while noracle8.dcx covered the 8 and 9 versions.
Oracle 11G is an entirely different matter. There is no supported solution available for Domino 6, to connect to that release of the Oracle Client.
Your options are to either use Oracle 9i at the latest, or to upgrade Domino to 8.0.2, which is the first release that supported Oracle 11G. Upgrading Domino is the only one of the two that would be officially supported by Lotus Support, as Domino 6 has been out of support for some time now.
If you were able to upgrade, I would suggest going to an 8.5 release - if you can upgrade anyway, may as well go to a newer release!
