Lotus Connectors Domino SAP R/3 Integration - SAP Connector - 1.7 Windows 2000

We are testing SAP MTA 1.7 on a development server - Win2000 & Domino 5.0.12 and successfully started the objserv for a couple of SAP systems and received mail ...

A few weeks later I noticed at server startup the 2 objserv tasks failed to load with a line error of 'Unable to access C:\Lotus\Domino' (Domino program directory - objserv exes are here) following the issue of the load command (or when the program doc runs) .... the data directory is on D:\Lotus\Domino\Data and the notes.ini file is pointing to the correct directories ...

I'm logged on as Administrator with full access and the Domino server starts as a service with Local Account access .. there are no restrictions on the directory or files within it ....

As this is a development server there has been a few changes over the last few weeks, but nothing to do with Domino config (one new application was installed - a Voice Mail Admin Console) ....

Is there something I've missed here ?
How could this have worked fine on initial testing and the same config fail to load now ?
I have an entry for RFC_INI in the env variables ....
