We transfer plenty of data between Oracle and Lotus Notes. The Oracle admins have stated, regarding password "hash" functions:
"... We support both SHA-2 and MD5. MD5 is considered non-secure and we must drop its support within platform. ... LEI is one of the applications that requires us to support MD5. What is involved in replacing MD5 hash with SHA-2 in LEI ... ? "
I cannot find any discussion of this issue. Is it possible to switch to SHA-2 ? How? Is there documentation?
