We have two servers, app01 and app02. In the past (R5) we ran DECS on app01 and app02 for realtime activites and LEI on app01 for replication activities. We are upgrading to 6.5.2, and have installed DECS on both servers, now we install LEI and run the migration tool, it creates/converts the LEI connections just fine, in addition it creates virtual document connections just fine for our DECS on app01 and app02 just fine in the new LEI on app01. Problem is that on app01, everything works as we would expect. On app02 however, the virtual dcoument connections in LEI admin on app01 appear to do nothing, we can not start the activites, if we do they fail. In addition, the decsadin.nsf file on app02 still exists and it starts it's activities as if we were only running with the DECS, not the LEI.
Is it not true that we can administer LEI on one server for virtual connections on multiple domino servers? Is there a manual step we have to take on the second domino server, like renaming decsadmin or something so we can use the LEI?
If anybody has insight into running LEI on one server to do real-time virtual documents no multiple servers on the AS/400 please let me know of pitfalls you may have encountered.
