I have a need to save a view as a comma delimited text file on an Essbase server. I have the code worked out to create the text file so that it saves to the LEI server, but am having trouble trying to figure out how to save it on the Essbase server. The Essbase server administrators tell me that although the Essbase product is owned by Oracle it is not really an oracle system. I printed out some documentation from the Essbase technical documentation which talks about how to make a connection; however, it seems more like how to create a connection from a user perspective. I haven't had a chance to try anything yet, but was wondering if anyone out there has had any dealing with this type of system before and could give me some guidance. Thanks in advance for your help.
I am not sure of the Essbase server version, but we are on the latest version of LEI using a Windows platform.
