Lotusphere Online seems a lot more useful this year. In addition to having a community for each session (where I've been posting additional info, like links and related sessions), you can also view the Lotusphere events calendar within iNotes (the iNotes within LS Online), which is a public Google Calendar. I went ahead and added this to my personal calendar in Notes 8.5, like this:
1. Open the Calendar (make sure you have the 8.5 template, too)
2. Click on "Show Calendars" in the left navigator.
3. Click on Add a Calendar...Add Google Calendar, Public, as in the picture below.
Here's the URL so you don't have to go fishing around Google, like I did. Use the XML version of the calendar, not the ICS version.
http://www.google.com/calendar/feeds/ladmin%40ls09.info/public/basic
And that's all there is to it. You can take this offline, too, but checking the appropriate box in the dialog.

P.S. Planet Lotus also has a public ical feed, if you want to go that route: http://planetlotus.org/events/ical/ . Just use iCalendar instead of Google in the Notes dialog box.

Sounded great, but unable to do what you describe :(
In 8.5 Help, it is described as "In the Views panel of your calendar's navigator, click My Calendars". Your term is "Show calendars".
But neither of these are present in my upgraded mailfile.
I sounds like you do not have the 8.5 template applied to your mail file. As you can see in the screen shots, it is indeed Show Calendar in the navigator. I do see that iNotes has "My Calendars" in the navigator, so they are both right! or both wrong! I will notify the consistency contessa (Mary Beth) of this.

The template is applied. But the template doesn't have any "Show calendars" either - just "Group Calendars".
great but where I can find others URLs on public calendars?
