Thoughts on Lotus software and collaborative applications, design, and Designer, by Chris Reckling.

I made updates to the standard discussion template for an internal application and thought that I would post it here. It's not cutting edge design and I actually didn't change any of the functionality of the template. However, I did remove a bunch of stuff I didn't care about: all the web design elements; all the author profile and subscription elements. The primary purpose was to update the look of the action bars, views, and left navigator (basically get rid of the green everywhere!).

Use it if you find it useful. If you are looking to update your own apps, then check out the action bar properties. I also used the built-in action icons everywhere.
