I'm trying to set up an LC3 server, the available resources being a physical server with Ubuntu 10.4 LTS Server 64 bit.
I did download from partnerworld all the needed "Cxyz1ML" files and started with the installation of components: DB2 is OK, but Websphere 7 is a problem.
I'm using the "response file" installation because I do not want any graphics thing on the server.
I choose the "cell" installation type for WAS, but after installation I cannot start the deployment manager.
I cannot also understand if an app server profile has been created or not by the "cell" installer.
The websphere infocenter is very cryptic and implies that you have a very deep knowledge of the platform.
Is there any "quick start guide" or "cheat sheet" with detailed info for setting up the different pieces that compose a LC3 installation?
