Converted a Stand alone LC2.5 installation to a Cluster (name = devcon25) setup with a WAS ND installation and one WAS base install.
Created a second profile inside the WAS base install with the PMT.sh tool.
I federated this second profile into WAS ND, and added this node to the
devcon25 cluster. All is working fine (choose this setup just to play around
with Connections and clustering).
Because it all runs on the same server the WebSphere variables all
point to the same directories. I made exceptions for the stats and cache
dirs. as is written in the info center of LC2.5
The problem I now have is that I can't apply ifixes for Connections
anymore. When I run the updateLC.sh command it starts but it hangs at task 2 out of 126.
When I then check the logs, in this example 20100514_154422_LO47060_homepage_install.log,
it just breaks in the middle of a rule. In all of my attempts it
breaks a random point in these logs files.
It is also weird to see that in all the attempts we did the first ifix it tries
to install is picked at random.
Anybody any idea what I'm doing wrong?
When it just was a Stand alone base install I successfully installed
ifixes.
The WAS ND server + the node agents are running.
Both the WAS servers are stopped.
