RE: Disable Add Entry in Activities
Vivek Mittal 18.Mar.12 09:04 PM a Web browser
Activities 3.0.1 Linux

We are using Activities to manage Tasks on a project.

An activity is a high level task and the To Do items within an activity form the low level tasks. This works wells with To Do as people can tick off tasks as they are completed.

However, Entries are not something you can assign to other people, nor can you mark them as completed. We are having a lot of trouble with people creating Entries instead of To Do and we have no use case for Entries within Activities, so are looking to how to disable that capability.

Can you point me to some documentation on how to modify the UI. I tried looking at the jsps within the Activities.ear, but don't see where to comment out the Add Entry links.

Thank you.
