Version 2.0.1 now supports specifying an extension attribute as a richtext edit field in profiles-config.xml, but a simple multiline field is still not supported via configuration.
Edit fields are only around 40 characters wide by default, which isn't very user friendly for larger attributes. We have therefore made our 4 additional Associated Information extension attributes richtext fields (even though we really only need multiline) but now it is taking ~20 seconds to load all the rich text controls on the About Me tab.
Does anyone have suggestions for trying to address the performance issue with loading all the rich text controls or have suggestions for the best way to just customize the size of the edit fields?
