I had to change server ips. When installing I put the server's name was eResearch. Everything worked before I had to change ip addresses.
Now, when I log in (user is ERIDirector), the url of blogs for example is:
http://eresearch:9080/blogs
Where can I change this to be www.eresearch.com:9080/blogs
Currently, I'm just putting an alias in the host file.
I have been looking in the configuration files and if that is where my answer is, I may need the see sample syntax because it hasn't been obvious to me yet.
Also..this might be related, because it also became broken when I changed IP addresses.
When I first log into the home page, the widgets don't display correctly until I click on the heading of the widget (for example blogs) then go into that section. When I return to the homepage, it asks me to log in again then I see everything the way it is supposed to be.
I get two errors...for communitites, I get the There are no Communitites in this view.
1) For Blogs and Dogear, I get Unable to display widget data. An error occurred. Contact your system administrator.
2) The following exception was caught:
