We've installed the pilot version of Lotus Connections 2.0 on W2003 server.
We're having trouble getting general access to it from web browsers and Notes.
Strangely enough we can connect from some but not other browsers and computers. In fact, I can connect from my Firefox browser but not from the IE browser (get either "Web page cannot be found" or "Web page cannot be displayed" messages). I can connect to Activities via the Lotus sidebar from this computer but not from others. And I cannot connect from any browser using another computer.
We turned on the Windows firewall with these ports open: 9080, 9060, and 9443, which seem to be the relevant ports. But turning off the firewall does not help.
--I've done ipconfig /flushdns.
--I've checked that there are no cookies set in the browser that works.
--I can connect using the browser even when Notes is not turned on, so it's not some Notes setting that's helping. (Btw, it took a good bit of trial-and-error to determine how to figure the Notes Sidebar Activities connection, as that doesn't seem to be documented anywhere--there are secret things to do to the Accounts settings under Preferences.)
