Occasionally, I have to prune the forum posts to close a question as resolved. When I do so, it shows my name/time/date as if I replied to the post.

When an admin closes out 20+ forum posts so they no longer appear in the "Open" category, I propose that the it doesn't show up as "Last Post" and doesn't show up in the Last Updated category (or at least give us the option to turn this off).

Most developers try to retrieve forum post content based on the person's name who last updated it. Today, it's showing that I updated 20+ forum posts, which I really didn't (just marked as resolved).

Also, I think that the "open as a question" checkbox should be selected as the default for forums. It's a pain to have to edit each post if the originator did not check this box during creation. 99% of posts ARE questions. If the originator does not select the check box, it takes a bit longer to get his/her question answered because it doesn't show on the 'Open Questions' tab.

Please redirect me to the correct forum for suggestions if this is not the right place. Thank you.
