The process of populating out-of-the-box attributes is covered in chapter [4.0 Tivoli Directory Integrator]. There are extra steps that you have to do when working with extension attributes through IBM Tivoli Directory Integrator:
Add new attribute to
tdi-profiles-config.xml
in <TDI_solution_directory_root>/conf/LotusConnections-config/. For details see the following topic in documentation:
http://www-10.lotus.com/ldd/lcwiki.nsf/dx/Populating_custom_extension_attributes_ic301
Make sure you are using the
_extAttrs_
prefix for the Profiles extension attributes when adding a work attribute into your Profile Connector.
An extension attribute is assessable through the Profile Connector as an array of three string fields: "name:"; "dataType:" and "
value:
". You should use extra scripting to work with these fields to read or write data to or from them. For example of such script, see step
