IBM Connections makes use of IBM OneUI. This enables the use of the same stylesheets across different IBM products. As an example, stylesheets designed with IBM Connections can be used in IBM WebSphere Portal and vice versa. You can define multiple IBM Connections community themes to be used by your users. In IBM Connections, you can customize the existing default community themes. However, it is important to note that the community themes will overwrite the default theme associated with all of IBM Connections. If you have a custom IBM Connections theme, remove the current default community themes first and then add your new community theme. It is advisable to add a theme that is based off the main IBM Connections theme to serve as your new default theme.

In this section, we describe the procedure of changing a Communities theme. We create two themes: Base, which will be our new default theme; and Renovations which will be our new customized theme.

8.1 Removing community themes
8.2 Defining a community theme
8.3 Adding a theme to the Communities configuration
