S1: Configuration diagrams

No abstract provided.
The following diagrams illustrate the topology of the network environment described in this deployment scenario. This figure depicts the overall cluster topology while the second figure illustrates the selected WebSphere® Application Server topology.

The following figure illustrates the scenario described in this document. There are individual server instances within the WebSphere Application Server profiles (AppSrv01), located on each node for each Lotus® Connections component. Each server instance represents an individual JVM for each component.

Between node 1 and node 2, the deployment manager is shown. The deployment manager contains the clusters, which each server on both nodes is part of. It is from this central point that administration of the entire network deployment takes place.

This topology is chosen as it offers a robust, high availability environment, which can be scaled as required in the future. This topology offers a high level of failover as each component is on its own server. Having individual server instances (JVMs) for each service does, however, require a high spec for the application server machines, It is recommended to increase the RAM to at least 8 GB on each node in this scenario to achieve optimal performance.
