S1: Starting Lotus Connections 

If deploying in a network environment, log in to the WebSphere^® Application Server ND Integrated Solutions Console. To do so, select System administration > Nodes. Next, select the check box for the node name and click Full Resynchronize. Then select Servers > Clusters, select the check box for the cluster name, and click Start.

It is important to note here that if the individual node / deployment manager machines are restarted, then the node agents and application server will not restart automatically unless Windows services are set up to account for this.
