This API is deprecated. These APIs are still functional for backward compatibility reasons - but no new feature is surfaced through these APIs. For any new development work, refer to the OpenSocial Microblogging APIs.

Send an Atom document containing a message entry to your own or another person's board feed.

See Authenticating requests for information about how to authenticate the request.


Provide a message Atom document. The content type of the Atom entry document must be application/atom+xml.


An Atom entry document containing the new message.


Method URI Description
POST /profiles/atom/mv/theboard/ Value of the href attribute of the <link> element with the rel="" attribute value found in one of the following locations:
1. Your service document to add the message to your own board.
2. The user's profile entry to add the message to someone else's board.

Code Description
