To update resources made available through the Atom APIs, you must first retrieve the service document of the API.



To update resources made available through the Atom APIs, you must first retrieve the service document of the API.
 

For example, send a GET request to one of the following web addresses to retrieve the Following service document for that application:
Activities

<host_server>/activities/follow/atom/service

Blogs

<host_server>/blogs/follow/atom/service

Communities

<host_server>/communities/follow/atom/service

Files

<host_server>/files/follow/atom/service

Forums

<host_server>/forums/follow/atom/service

New repository

Following service document content
When updating followed resources with the Following APIs, first obtain the Following service document for the application you are working with. The service document provides access to all of the followed resources that you can update.
