To create a community events, send an Atom entry document containing the new event entry to the Community Events widget's Event Entries resource.

To create a community event, complete the following steps:
1. Retrieve the Community Events service document. See Retrieving the Communities Events service document.
2. In the service document, locate the Event Entries Atom collection within the workspace, and then copy the web address in the href attribute of the Event Entries collection.
3. Send a POST request to the web address that you noted in the previous step. Pass a community event Atom entry document as input on the request.
Provide a community event Atom entry document.
The content type of the Atom entry document must be application/atom+xml
