Using the Atom Publishing Protocol, also known as AtomPub, you can save stories from the list of latest updates that you want to read later, and you can remove stories from the collection of saved stories.
Important note: The News Repository APIs have been deprecated from the 4.0 release. These APIs are still functional for backward compatibility reasons - but no new feature is surfaced through these APIs. For any new development work, please refer to the OpenSocial Activity Stream APIs.

Saving stories
To save an item that is displayed in the Updates tab of the Home page so you can read it later, send a request to your saved stories feed with the ID of the update or story you want to save for later. A copy is added to your saved stories, and given a new ID.

Removing stories from the saved stories collection
To remove a saved story, use the HTTP DELETE method.
