Using the Atom Publishing Protocol, also known as AtomPub, you can create, delete, or download a version of a file, and compare two versions.

Creating a version
To create a version of a file, send a PUT request to your document library programmatically and include the createVersion=true parameter.

Retrieving a version of a file
Retrieve an Atom document representation of a version of a file from your library.

Downloading a version of a file
Download a version of a file from your library.

Deleting versions of a document
Removes versions of a file from your library.
