Rectifying the count of forums and forum topics
If a transaction involving the Forums application fails, the total count of forums and forum topics that display in the Forums user interface might not be consistent. You can use administrative commands to manually recalculate the count of forums and forum topics in your organization and ensure that the figures are up-to-date.
When moderation is enabled for Forums, a designated moderator can review posts before they are published to a forum and manage posts after they are added to a forum. Forums moderation is supported for community forums and stand-alone forums.
Managing forum trash
Use administrative commands and edit configuration property settings to move forum content to the trash, empty the trash, restore forums and forum topics from the trash, and perform other trash management tasks for Forums.

Managing file attachments in Forums
You can manage space on the Forums server by limiting the number of attachments that users can upload to a forum post. You can also edit configuration property settings in the forum-config.xml
file to prevent your users from uploading file attachments.
