About this task
A base set of information is typically required for diagnosing and resolving a product-level or component-level problem. Collect the data before you open a problem management record (PMR) to expedite the process and get the problem resolved more quickly. The easiest way to collect the data that IBM Support will ask you to provide is by using the IBM Support Assistant (ISA) or ISA lite tools.
