About this task
To import application data into your IBM

- Start the Deployment Manager in your IBM Connections 4.0 deployment.
- Copy the migration directory that you backed up from your 3.0.1 deployment to the connections_root directory in your 4.0 deployment.
- Import your 3.0.1 data. Open a command prompt, change to the migration directory on the Deployment Manager node in your 4.0 deployment, and run the following command:

Compete the steps in the Post-migration tasks
If the migration fails, restore the Deployment Manager profile and complete the steps in this task again. If you customized your 3.0.1 environment, reapply your customizations to the relevant XML files.
For more information, see the Rolling back a migration
If your existing deployment uses Quickr
® Connector and you want to continue using it, you must install and configure Quickr
Connector after installing IBM
Connections 4.0. The migration tool does not handle the Quickr
Connector configuration files.
