Before you begin
Use this procedure if you do not want to use the IBM
Support Assistant or IBM Support Assistant lite, which are tools that automate the process of running traces and collecting the necessary data from your system. Though it takes time to download and install the full IBM
Support Assistant tool, the lite edition is installed with the product and available for use immediately. Both tools make the data collection process much easier.

Support Assistant, complete the following steps:
