|IBM® Connections Mail can be integrated into IBM Connections to let users use their inbox and view their calendar in Connections.
To install IBM
Connections Mail, you must have the following software installed:
- Connections 4.5
- Microsoft™ Exchange or IBM Domino® mail server (or one or more of each)
- A directory
- An environment secured with a supported single-sign on solution. SPENGO or LTPA are best, but IBM Tivoli® Access Manager and Computer Associates’ SiteMinder are also supported. If you use Tivoli Access Manager or SiteMinder, ensure that you use the following procedures: Enabling single sign-on for Tivoli Access Manager and Enabling single sign-on for SiteMinder with SPNEGO
Note: If you previously enabled single sign-on for Tivoli Access Manager, you must re-configure. During step 14c, add connectionsmail.interService.href to the list for application_interService_key.
To ensure smooth completion of the installation, it is important that the environment is configured correctly.
After you download and install Connections Mail, you must complete configuration tasks before Connections Mail is ready to use.
