Configuring a shared data folderAdded by IBM on September 24, 2013 | Version 1 (Original)
|For a networked, multi-node configuration, there must be a shared space between the nodes that are running , the Document Format Conversion server, and the IBM® File Viewer service. This space is used as a data store for File Viewer, and exchanges the conversion results with the IBM conversion component.
About this task
For different physical nodes between File Viewer and the IBM
conversion components, File Viewer uses NFS to share data. Usually the NAS or an NFS server (Linux™) hosts the NFS server side, and the File Viewer server and IBM
conversion server (Windows™) are NFS clients.
In a clustered environment, you must configure an NFS server side, and all other nodes must point to this NFS server.
Complete the following procedures to configure the shared data folder.
