SmartCloud for Social Business supports action UI extensions. Generally, an action extension displays in the UI as a menu option or button that links to the partner application. When a user clicks the link, the browser redirects to a new web page in either the current window or a new window. The web page may or may not be hosted on the SmartCloud for Social Business server.
Action extensions can receive contextual data parameters as request parameters on the URL that is specified for the extension. Contextual data parameters include information such as the subscriber ID of the current user.
