Before you install, review the hardware and software requirements.

When sending and receiving files in Connections Mail, you can use traditional attachments, or you can use Connections Files to share the files and include links to them in your emails. Sharing through Connections saves space and makes sharing and collaborating easier.

Use the mail and calendar icons to access your IBM® Lotus Notes® or Microsoft™ Outlook inbox and calendar from within Connections. See when new mail arrives and perform essential tasks, such as composing and replying to mail.

In Connections Mail, you can send mail to contacts from your Connections network, as well as your Notes® or Outlook contacts list.

After installing IBM® Connections Mail, you must configure additional options before IBM Connections Mail is ready to use.

You can use SPNEGO to create a secure environment between Connections and your Microsoft™ Exchange or IBM® Domino® mail servers. For Domino servers, it is better to use LTPA.
