The Interrogation Form dialog box opens when the Start Interrogation button is clicked.

 
Interrogation Form Dialog

When using the Interrogation Form with a Windows application, you have the following options:

Function

Description

Default

Select objects using the standard method of clicking on Controls.

Debug Matching  

Select this option to debug unmatched targets. If a control is failing to match, select the control in Object Explorer.  Next, select this option and drag the interrogator icon over the control. A red "X" icon displays next to the Match Rules that are failing (in the Match Rules list/ match Rules tab).

Replace Control

Use this option to replace an interrogated control. This option is most used when updating a solution from one version of the Windows application to another.
