You can configure the Enterprise Management Agent using the Device Preferences page.
This section describes how to configure the agent using the Enterprise Management Agent Preferences page on devices. You can access the Enterprise Management Agent Preferences page by launching Application Manager and selecting Command > Preferences
. The following parameters appear on the Enterprise Management Agent Preferences page:
Table 1. Enterprise Management Agent Parameters
|User ID||The identity that a user’s machine uses to connect to a Client Management server.|
|User Password|| The password that a user’s machine uses to connect to a Client Management server.|
|HTTP/HTTPS||Choose the type of connection with the server.|
|Server Address||Server address consists of two parts – a URI and the path to the DM Servlet to contact for enrollment. Use one of the following to specify the Client Management server address:
SyncML/DM is the data synchronization protocol that the agent and server use to communicate with each other. When the server has been configured to require authorization using SyncML/DM, append the following value to the Server Address:
- IP address
- Host name
- Host name plus domain name
If SyncML/DM authorization is not required by the server, append the following value to the Server Address instead:
The Lotus® Expeditor Client for Devices only supports one account. Any changes made in the preferences page or from the Client Management server to account information is applied to this one account.
