You can remove a component (Client Management Services, DB2® Everyplace® Synchronization Services, or MQ Everyplace) in preparation for uninstall or for reconfiguration into a managed environment.
These steps assume you have installed the Expeditor Server core files and one or more components. For more information, see Installing Lotus Expeditor Server core files
The following instructions include instructions for AIX®, Linux®, and Windows® operating systems. You also have the option to remove components using response files. For details, see Using configuration response files and Response file templates
The steps assume you intend to complete the installation in one attempt by completing the information on each panel and continuing to the next panel. At any point during the installation, you can select Back
to return to the previous panel or Cancel
to abort the installation.
Select Remove an installed component and click Next.
The list of components is displayed. Select the desired component to remove and click Next.
- Start the configuration wizard, if it is not already running, in one of the following ways:
Note: You may select multiple components to remove. If you select a component that is not installed and configured, you will receive a message indicating that component is not installed. That component must be unchecked.
If you are removing the Client Management services component, you will be asked if you want to also remove the Client Management services data from the database. If you want to keep the data to reconfigure for a different environment, select No. Otherwise, select Yes and click Next.
If this is a primary node in a cluster, the configuration wizard validates that other cluster members have been removed. If secondary nodes are still present, you will be warned that removing the primary cluster will remove all cluster members.
Verify that the information on the Configuration Summary panel is correct and click Next.

On the final configuration panel, click Next to return to the configuration wizard or Cancel to exit the configuration wizard.
