A Client Services Rich GUI application uses eSWT to draw its user interface. Similar to an Eclipse eRCP workbench application, a Rich GUI application draws its user interface within a View.
In eRCP, views are displayed inside a workbench application. In Lotus® Expeditor, when running on a desktop computer, views are also displayed in a workbench, but on a device they are displayed as individual windows. No matter how they are displayed, embedded Rich GUI applications are referred to as workbench applications since they never create their own top level window.
