If the Expeditor Client Management services are being removed from a managed environment, you must manually remove the user interface from the Deployment Manager. Also, when updating the GUI (for example, when applying maintenance), the user interface must be removed first. This step must be done prior to removing Client Management Services from the managed environment.
A jython script is provided to assist with removing the Client Management GUI. This file must be either downloaded from the Expeditor Server or copied from the system on which the Expeditor Server is deployed. The URL to download the jython script is:
is the local machine host name and port
is the WC_defaulthost port for the clientMgmtService application server. This port can be found by logging into the WebSphere® Integrated Solutions Console and selecting Servers
-> Application servers
. The port will be listed under the port name WC_defaulthost and is something close to 9082.
This file can also be located on the server where the Client Management Services is deployed:
Server install directory/ClientMgmt/jython/updateISCEAR.py
- Download or copy the jython file to a temporary directory. You do not need the Expeditor Client Management user interface .war file to remove it from the console.
- Change to the WebSphere Application Server home bin directory and run the following command:
: wsadmin.bat -lang jython -f "temp_dir/updateISCEAR.py" -username was_id -password was_password -profileName profile_name remove ecm.gui.war
: wsadmin.sh -lang jython -f "temp_dir/updateISCEAR.py" -username was_id -password was_password -profileName profile_name remove ecm.gui.war
- Delete was home/systemApps/isclite.ear/ecm.gui.war if it exists.
