Administrators can upgrade IBM® Lotus® Expeditor desktop clients using Client Management services to control the upgrade process.
This procedure is referred to as a Server Managed client upgrade, which means that an administrator is using the services of the Expeditor Server to control the process of upgrading an Expeditor desktop client. Contrast this with the Network Client Installer process, where the user controls when to download and deploy a client upgrade.
